= 4.5/(12+12)
= 0.1875 A.

P = I^2 Rw.
= (0.1875)^2 (12).
= 422 mW.

Eth = 4.5 Volts.
Rth = 12ohms.

P max= Eth2/4Rth = 4.5^2/ (4*12) = 0.422 W = 422mW.
