I, from the question, it is evident that capacitors are in parallel, then voltage will be same in each branch (ie, in each capacitor).

II, it is also evident that the supply source is DC, for a DC supply capacitor act as an open circuit.

(if there is any open in a circuit then the supply voltage will be available across the 'open' without any drop).

So, here the voltage across two branches (ie, across two capacitors) are equal as supply.

So, answer is 6V.

The answer for this is 6v. Because it's in parallel and for those who are saying the capacitor is connected to a dc supply, yes the capacitor behaves as an open circuit when connected to DC and due to infinite resistance all of the 6 volts are dropped across it.

Once the capacitor is connected to the DC voltage source, it will charge up to the voltage that the DC voltage source is outputting.

So,
If a capacitor is connected to a 9-volt battery, it will charge up to 9 voltage. Similarly, the answer is 6 volt.

The answer should be D.

Because the capacitors are connected across a D.C source in which frequency f = 0.

So Xc = infinity, the capacitors act as a open circuit.

6 volt is correct. Both the capacitors are connected in parallel. Each Capacitor will get charged up to 6 volt and then current flow will stop in the circuit.

Here given that 6 volt had given across each capacitor that means both capacitor connected parallel across 6 volt. So both C have same voltage that is 6 volt.

As they mentioned capacitors are connected in parallel across 6 we battery.

In parallel voltage will be same. So voltage across 330pf will be 6v.

Question is say each component is connected across a 6volt source so Capacitor is in parllel so in parllel voltage across ecah component is equal.

In the case of capacitor in parallel means voltage won't be divided. Therefore, it will be found source voltage (6V) across the 330 pF capacitor.

When a DC source is connected with capacitor. The capacitor behave like an open circuit.

How the voltage across it equal to 6v?
