The correct answer should be yes as each and every digit in binary is represented by four digit in binary coded decimal.

In binary it is 1100. In binary code decimal it is 0001 0010 more bits. Its true.

Not necessarily, as in the case of 8 and 9 the bit count is same (4 each).

I think it should be yes. BCD have always more digit than binary.
