7411 General Description

This device contains three independent gates each of which performs the logic AND function.

7411 Absolute Maximum Ratings:

* Supply Voltage: 7V
* Input Voltage: 7V
* Operating Free Air Temperature Range : 0 C to +70 C
* Storage Temperature Range: -65 C to +150 C

Triple input...one output. So 3 AND gates.

7411IC contains 14 pins. out of which 1 is +vcc and 1 is gnd .now left 12 pins. one AND gate requires 3 pins (2 for i/p and 1 for o/p).so there should be 4 AND gates. 2 on one side and 2 on other side.

At Ameya, one AND gate requires 4 pins, 3 inputs and one output. Therefore 7411 requires 3 AND gates.

7411 IC is 3 input and gate. Check for the pin diagram you all know about it.

We required four and gates but your answer is three gates why?

This is wrong answer. It has 4 gate. I know it practically.
