Actually duty cycle is pulse duration divided by total time period
i.e = pulse duration/total time period
So pulse width=on time + off time
i.e)total time period
DC=(1/4)*100
=25%

so the Duty cycle =tw/T*100
=tw/4tw*100
=1/4*100
=25
so the Duty cycle =tw/T*100
