According to you it z a 5 bit counter. It can count upto 32. So it should be mod 16.

Because mod 10 z a 4 bit counter.

How say for example mod 8 is a 3 bit counter and mod 4 is a 2 bit counter?

Now when cascaded we get 5 bit counter. So it has to be mod 10?

Because output frequency is fin/modulus, modulus = no.of state in first counter*no.of state in second counter.
