Exclusive OR means either of the Inputs(A or B) is high then the output (X) will be high otherwise X will be low. So waveform satisfies this condition. If both i/p high or both i/p are low then o/p will be low. So, one i/p should be low and other should be high or vice versa for being o/p high.

According to the picture when any input (A, B) is one the output (x) will be one. As we know from the truth table of xor gate single number of one in input the output will be one.

According to given waveform A, B are i/p's and X is the o/p. Now we are apply the XOR truth table it will assist the waveform.
