Can you say why three dimension table can't be the answer?

There is a row and column and has a relation.

For a table to be in a relation it has to have a Row and a Column. A Table is The relation between a Row and Column.

Two dimensional table contains rows and columns. To find out relation we always need two things. So in the table we can compare rows and columns. If we have only single name than we can't find out relation untill we don't know that with which we have to find out relation.
