Enterprise resource planning is the integration of various corporate functions using information technology. The main objective of a small or large manufacturing company's ERP project is to track its supply chain activities from inventory purchase to processing and final shipment to customers. This integrated view of company data can improve information sharing and collaboration across functional and corporate boundaries.

I think it should be a data mining database application because resource management of a enterprise is done after analyzing the previous data of a company. Companies arranges there inventory according to demand of consumers. This demand is predicted by applying the data mining on previous records.

If we want to store the data of big organisations, industries etc., then at that time many people may interact with the database. So, that type of databases are called as multi user databases.

ERP consists of planning, manufacturing, shipping, delivering and all departments of supply chain mgmt. So all dept. Have to simultaneously acess to db hence multiuser db.

Because ERP is the collection of many people or group of people, sp that it is multiuser database application.
