X = salary , Y= bonus A as per percentage.
X . A percnt = y.
A percnt = y/x.
A/100= y/x .
So A =y.100/x.
X . A percnt = y.
A percnt = y/x.
A/100= y/x .
So A =y.100/x.

The total bonus is what % of total salary.
Total salary* (x/100)= total bonus.
1710* (x/100)= 17.
x/100=17/1710.
x=(17/1710 )*100.
1%.

Let,
Total Bonus = x% of salary.
17 = 1710 (x%).
17 = 1710 (x/100).
Now, solving for x,
x = 1700/1710 = 0.99 = 1% (approximately).
Total Bonus = x% of salary.
17 = 1710 (x%).
17 = 1710 (x/100).
Now, solving for x,
x = 1700/1710 = 0.99 = 1% (approximately).
