According to me its 3:2 ratio but answer "cannot be determined" creates more confusion. Can anyone explain why its can't be determined as all details are mentioned in the available graph.

Proteins in muscle : proteins in bone = 3/10:1/5 = 30:20.
Now proteins = 24%.
= 24*20/100 = 7.2....Muscle.
= 24*30/100 = 4.8....Bone.
i.e 7.2 = 4.8 = 7:5.
= 3:2 is the answer C.
Now proteins = 24%.
= 24*20/100 = 7.2....Muscle.
= 24*30/100 = 4.8....Bone.
i.e 7.2 = 4.8 = 7:5.
= 3:2 is the answer C.

@Ramjee Kumar, As you have mentioned that 24% of 30 is 7.2 and 24% of 20 is 4.8 so the ratio of muscles and bones be 3:2. How did you get that 3:2, Can you explain me please?

Likewise the 1st solution, we can find % of protein equivalent to muscle and bone.
24%of x=3/10==x=3/10*100/24=5/4.
24% of x=1/5==x=1/5*100/24=5/6.
Now ratio==5/4:5/6=3:2.
24%of x=3/10==x=3/10*100/24=5/4.
24% of x=1/5==x=1/5*100/24=5/6.
Now ratio==5/4:5/6=3:2.

In perspective, Protein in muscles: protein in bones will be 3/2:1 and this ratio did not in options so it's can not be determined!

The distribution of the protein in parts of the body is not given (24% is given for the whole body, not for individual parts).

Proteins= 24% Muscles=3/10 Bones=1/5.
proteins in the muscles/proteins in the Bones=(3/10)*24/(1/5)*24.
3/2 i.e., 3:2.
proteins in the muscles/proteins in the Bones=(3/10)*24/(1/5)*24.
3/2 i.e., 3:2.

@Ramjee is it correct if we assume 100kg as weight. If yes then it is right but if not then the answer cannot be determined.

Distribution of protien is given for whole body i.e. 24%, not its proportion in different parts of the body. That is why..

But if as we know muscles are 30% of body then we can get 24% of its is 7.2% likewise.
Is it correct can any one tell ?
