NVIDIA partnered with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to develop India’s first sovereign gigawatt-scale AI factory infrastructure. The collaboration focuses on building production-grade AI capacity within the country by expanding high-density GPU clusters and deploying accelerated computing systems. Planned data centre expansions in Chennai and Mumbai will support large-scale AI model training and enterprise-level AI workloads. By integrating NVIDIA’s GPUs, CPUs, networking solutions, and AI Enterprise software with L&T’s engineering expertise, the initiative strengthens India’s digital infrastructure, aligns with the IndiaAI Mission, and promotes secure, scalable, and domestically anchored AI development.
