Nvidia developed the Jetson Orin Nano Super, a powerful generative AI supercomputer for edge devices, delivering 67 TOPS of performance. India is making significant strides in the field of quantum communications through its National Quantum Mission (NQM). As part of this mission, India aims to launch a quantum satellite in the next 2-3 years, which will use quantum physics to secure communication signals, making them resistant to interception. The TTDF-funded project awarded to Amantya Technologies focuses on developing a carrier-grade 5G SA Core compliant with 3GPP Release 16/17 standards. It supports features like network slicing, Quality of Service (QoS), Voice over New Radio (VoNR), and massive Machine-Type Communication (mMTC). This initiative is part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission to enhance India's telecom infrastructure and foster self-reliance in cutting-edge technologies.

India’s first bio-bitumen highway was inaugurated on the Nagpur-Mansar Bypass (NH-44). This innovative road uses lignin derived from crop residues to replace 15% of traditional bitumen, making it eco-friendly and cost-effective. The highway is 40% stronger than traditional asphalt roads, showcasing the potential for sustainable infrastructure development. ISRO is set to launch the SpaDeX mission in December 2024 aboard PSLV-C60, aiming to demonstrate in-space docking technology using two small spacecraft, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target).
