NVIDIA partnered with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to develop India’s first sovereign gigawatt-scale AI factory infrastructure. The collaboration focuses on building production-grade AI capacity within the country by expanding high-density GPU clusters and deploying accelerated computing systems. Planned data centre expansions in Chennai and Mumbai will support large-scale AI model training and enterprise-level AI workloads. By integrating NVIDIA’s GPUs, CPUs, networking solutions, and AI Enterprise software with L&T’s engineering expertise, the initiative strengthens India’s digital infrastructure, aligns with the IndiaAI Mission, and promotes secure, scalable, and domestically anchored AI development.

Space startup GalaxEye entered into a strategic agreement with NewSpace India Limited, commonly known as NSIL, which functions as the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation. This partnership makes GalaxEye the first private Indian satellite operator to establish a data reseller collaboration of this kind. Under the agreement, NSIL will globally market and distribute GalaxEye’s SyncFused OptoSAR satellite imagery. The collaboration aims to provide high-precision data solutions for sectors such as agriculture, disaster management, environmental monitoring, and other critical applications, enhancing India’s presence in the global space-based data market.

Vast Space has signed an agreement with NASA for its first private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, targeting a launch no earlier than summer 2027. The mission will use SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft, with astronauts expected to spend up to 14 days aboard the ISS. This collaboration marks a major milestone in the transition toward commercial space stations. Vast is also developing Haven-1, projected to become the world’s first commercial space station, supporting long-term goals of expanding the orbital economy and enabling a sustained human presence in space.

Indian Highways Management Company Limited entered into a strategic partnership with the National Forensic Sciences University to enhance cybersecurity and data protection across digital highway operations. The collaboration focuses on areas such as cyber forensics, digital evidence integrity, research, training, and consultancy. With highways increasingly dependent on technologies like Multi-Lane Free Flow tolling and advanced traffic management systems, safeguarding sensitive data has become critical. NFSU’s expertise in cyber investigation and forensic sciences will help strengthen resilience against cyber threats, ensure secure digital operations, and build institutional capacity for managing cyber incidents in national highway infrastructure.

IISc Bengaluru entered into a tripartite agreement with BEML and the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development to promote advanced collaborative research in critical sectors such as aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing. The partnership is designed to accelerate blue-sky, applied, and translational research, with a strong emphasis on indigenisation and national self-reliance. By enabling shared access to research infrastructure and expertise, the collaboration aims to develop high-impact technologies that support India’s strategic and industrial capabilities while strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem.
