Arunachal Pradesh is scheduled to host the 14th International Tourism Mart (ITM) in Tawang from October 27 to November 1, 2026. The event is being jointly organised by the Union Ministry of Tourism and the state government. Delegates from approximately 20 countries, including international buyers and media representatives, are expected to participate. Tawang is hosting the event again after 13 years, having last held it in 2013. The mart serves as an important platform for showcasing the cultural heritage, natural beauty and tourism potential of the eight North Eastern states to domestic and international audiences. Tawang is also famous for its historic monastery, Sela Pass and Nuranang Falls.
