Telangana has topped the list of Indian states in terms of UPI (Unified Payments Interface) transaction intensity, as highlighted in the Reserve Bank of India’s September 2025 bulletin. The study revealed that southern and western states such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi also reported high per capita UPI usage.
