Uttarakhand has partnered with Iceland, a global leader in geothermal energy, to harness the state's geothermal potential. This collaboration formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Verkis Consulting Engineers, focuses on exploring 40 identified geothermal sites in Uttarakhand.
