Harry Kane won his first Men’s Ballon d’Or in 2026 at the 70th award ceremony held at the Palladium Theatre in London. Representing England and Bayern Munich, Kane delivered an outstanding season, scoring 61 goals across all competitions, including 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches. He finished ahead of French footballer Kylian Mbappé and Spanish youngster Lamine Yamal in the voting. Kane also received the Gerd Müller Award for his goal-scoring achievements. The 2026 ceremony was notable because it was held outside France for the first time. Spain’s Alexia Putellas won the Women’s Ballon d’Or for the third time.
