The trophy tour for the 135th IndianOil Durand Cup reached Guwahati on July 17, 2026, ahead of the tournament scheduled from July 25 to August 23, 2026. During the two-day visit, the prestigious Durand Cup, President’s Cup, and Simla Trophy were displayed at prominent locations, including the Assam Legislative Assembly, IIT Guwahati, and the Bir Lachit Borphukan Statue. Guwahati is one of the five host cities for the tournament and will stage six Group F matches featuring clubs such as defending champions NorthEast United FC, Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC, and Bodoland FC.
