The Jan Kalyan Shivir initiative was launched across the National Capital Territory to provide citizens with easier access to various Central and State Government welfare schemes. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the programme was conducted at 42 locations and operated as a three-day outreach campaign from June 18 to June 20, 2026. The initiative aimed to improve public service delivery through direct citizen engagement and assistance. Alongside the welfare camps, a large-scale Yamuna cleaning drive was carried out across 28 ghats to promote environmental conservation. The programme reflects efforts to enhance governance, public welfare, and urban development in the national capital.
