World Food India 2024 was inaugurated in New Delhi, and organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The event took place at Bharat Mandapam, bringing together over 90 countries, 26 Indian states, and 18 government bodies. With Japan as the partner country and Vietnam and Iran as focus countries, the event also introduced "Swaad Sutra," a culinary contest showcasing regional dishes from across India, promoting Indian cuisine on the global stage.
