The 41st meeting of the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs to sanction more affordable houses for the benefit of urban poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) was held at New Delhi. A total of 3,10,597 more affordable houses for the benefit of urban poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) has been approved by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. The approval consists of: Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC) vertical- 1,91,556 and Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP)vertical- 1,18,941.
