The District Court Complex at Kargil was inaugurated to enhance judicial infrastructure in the remote and high-altitude region of Ladakh. Due to harsh climatic conditions, the inauguration was conducted virtually by the Chief Justice of India. Ladakh’s unique geographical challenges often make access to justice difficult for residents. The newly constructed complex, equipped with modern facilities and climate-resilient design, aims to address these issues. By bringing legal services closer to the people, especially in border districts like Kargil, it improves accessibility, reduces travel hardships, and strengthens the delivery of justice in the region.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Delhi Government and Prasar Bharati was formalised during the International Film Festival held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This agreement is part of a broader initiative to transform the national capital into a global media and entertainment hub. The planned Delhi Film City will feature advanced production and post-production facilities along with training and research centres. By focusing on sectors like animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics, the project aims to attract filmmakers and boost creative industries, supported by incentives such as financial subsidies and a new film policy.

China Mobile inaugurated its Global Intelligence Centre (GIC) in Hong Kong, marking a significant advancement in the region’s digital and technological infrastructure. The facility is designed to support large-scale artificial intelligence operations, including training complex AI models and managing high-performance computing tasks. Equipped with advanced technologies like digital twins, AI-driven scheduling, and autonomous inspections, the center enhances operational efficiency and connectivity. It also plays a strategic role in linking global data networks and strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a key hub in China’s Digital China initiative and the broader Asia-Pacific technology ecosystem.

The 9th PharmaMed 2026 conference is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on March 27, 2026. Organised by the Department of Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event aims to bring together policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders. It focuses on advancing India’s pharmaceutical sector by promoting innovation, improving regulatory standards, and strengthening supply chains.
