The 4th ‘No Money for Terror’ (NMFT) Conference, which focused on global initiatives to tackle terror financing, was held in Munich. India, actively involved in the conference since 2018, reiterated its commitment to combating terrorism through enhanced international collaboration. During the conference, discussions centred around the challenges of digital financial networks and cross-border transactions used in terror financing, stressing the need for unified international action against these evolving threats.

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is located in New Delhi. Recently, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adamas University, Kolkata, to foster academic and research collaboration in the field of Homoeopathy. This partnership is expected to advance scientific research in Homoeopathy by encouraging knowledge exchange and collaborative initiatives, marking a significant milestone in the field.

India has signed an MoU to develop a state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Varanasi. The park, covering 150 acres, will significantly enhance regional connectivity. It will be strategically connected to NH7, the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, and National Waterway-1, offering easy access to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport. This development aims to improve logistics and transportation infrastructure in the region, boosting economic activity and accessibility.

The Mahila Samridhi Yojana was launched by the Delhi government to provide financial assistance to economically weaker women in New Delhi. The scheme, approved on March 8, 2025, offers ₹2,500 monthly to women aged 18-60 years with an annual income of up to ₹2.5 lakh. The government allocated ₹5,100 crore for the scheme's implementation, targeting BPL card holders who do not benefit from other schemes.

The first World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) will be hosted by the Government of India in Mumbai, Maharashtra, from May 1 to 4, 2025. The event will focus on four key pillars, including Broadcasting & Infotainment, AVGC-XR, Digital Media & Innovation, and Films-WAVES. The location of this milestone event for the Media & Entertainment sector is confirmed as Mumbai.
