The second edition of WAVES Doc Bazaar will be hosted in Mumbai from June 16 to June 18, 2026, at the NFDC Complex alongside the 19th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF). The event is designed to support documentary, animation, and short filmmakers by providing them with mentorship, networking opportunities, and international market exposure. Key components of the event include the Viewing Room for showcasing completed films and the Work-In-Progress Lab for filmmakers seeking expert guidance during post-production stages. Organised in connection with MIFF, the initiative strengthens India’s creative and cinematic ecosystem while promoting independent and high-quality filmmaking.
