The inaugural International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) Summit will be hosted in New Delhi on 1st and 2nd June 2026 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The summit aims to bring together global wildlife conservation delegates to strengthen cooperation for the protection of big cat species. Guided by the theme “Save Big Cats, Save Humanity, Save Ecosystem,” the event seeks to adopt the historic Delhi Declaration focused on transboundary big cat conservation. The summit is inspired by India’s successful conservation initiatives, such as Project Tiger, and highlights India’s growing leadership role in global wildlife and biodiversity protection efforts.
