India launched its first-ever Exploration Licence auction on March 13, 2025, specifically in Goa. This auction aims to unlock deep-seated mineral reserves and covers 13 mineral blocks across 10 states. Goa was chosen as the venue for this significant event. Additionally, the AI Hackathon 2025, focused on "Mineral Targeting using AI," was also held as part of this initiative, further emphasizing the importance of Goa in the event's proceedings.

The PM Surya Ghar Scheme reached the significant milestone of 10 lakh rooftop solar installations by 10th March 2025. This achievement marks a crucial step in India's efforts towards energy self-reliance and environmental sustainability. The scheme, launched in February 2024, is on track to solarize 1 crore households by 2026-27, with substantial subsidies and financial support to encourage solar adoption and reduce electricity costs for households.

The Water Sustainability Conference 2025 took place at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi.
