Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, took off from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on July 14 and successfully landed on the Moon's surface on August 23, 2023. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) approved the name "Statio Shiv Shakti" for the landing site, marking this date as a significant milestone in India's space exploration journey.

World Poetry Day is celebrated on March 21 every year. This day is significant as it honours the role of poetry in cultural and linguistic expression. It was adopted by UNESCO in 1999 to promote linguistic diversity, revive poetry traditions, and increase awareness and understanding of endangered languages. It was first observed on September 12, 2007, which marked the birthday of Dr. Charles Godon, the founder of FDI World Dental Federation. The day aims to highlight the importance of oral hygiene and preventive measures against common oral diseases like cavities, which affect a significant portion of the global population.

Martyrs' Day is observed on March 23rd annually to commemorate the deaths of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru in 1931. This day pays homage to the sacrifices made by these freedom fighters and honours their contribution to India's independence struggle.

The International Day of Nowruz is celebrated annually on March 21, marking the first day of spring and symbolizing renewal and cultural diversity. Recognized by UNESCO, Nowruz promotes values of peace, solidarity, reconciliation, and cultural heritage among communities globally.
