The 100th Tansen Music Festival, held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest ensemble of 536 artists playing nine different instruments simultaneously for nine minutes. Organized by the Culture Department of Madhya Pradesh, the Tansen Samaroh celebrates the legacy of Tansen, one of India's greatest musicians, and highlights the cultural richness of the city of Gwalior, known as the music city.

The 4th edition of the Eaglenest Bird Festival will be held in Arunachal Pradesh, specifically at Khellong and Thongre village in West Kameng District from January 17 to 19, 2025. The Ngada festival marks the end of the agricultural year and serves as an important occasion for the Rengma Nagas to gather and celebrate. The Rengma tribe predominantly resides in Nagaland and Assam, and their cultural practices are deeply tied to the agricultural cycle. The 30th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) will prominently feature French cinema, showcasing contemporary works by French women filmmakers, classic French films, and more.
