Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has signed a MoU for the year 2018-19 with Ministry of Power. The MoU was signed by Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary, Ministry of Power and I. S. Jha, Chairman and Managing Director, POWERGRID. The MoU specifies several targets for POWERGRID to be achieved by during FY 2018-19. Capex target for 2018-19 has been fixed at Rs. 25,000 crore. Other targets mentioned in the MoU are parameters related to human resources, project management, R&D and innovation and other efficiency and operational performance parameters.
