The multinational military exercise KHAAN QUEST 2024 is set to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from 27th July to 9th August 2024. This event, co-sponsored by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, brings together military forces from around the world to collaborate and improve their peacekeeping capabilities. Mongolia has been the host for this exercise since it evolved into a multinational event in 2006.

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) of India successfully conducted a flight test of the Phase-II Ballistic Missile Defence System on July 24, 2024. This significant achievement highlights India's advancements in missile defence technology, which is capable of protecting against long-range ballistic missile threats. The test involved a realistic threat scenario with the launch of a target missile, detection by advanced sensors, and a rapid response by the interceptor missile, showcasing India's robust and integrated missile defence capabilities.

The launch of the first of two Advanced Frigates on July 23, 2024, took place at Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL). This event is a significant milestone in India’s naval capabilities, showcasing the country's progress in indigenous shipbuilding. The ceremony included traditional maritime customs and was attended by notable dignitaries, emphasizing its importance. The frigate, named Triput, symbolizes the strength and precision of the Indian Navy, drawing its name from Indian mythology.
