The exercise BONGOSAGAR-23 and Coordinated Patrol CORPAT-23 between the Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy occurred in the Northern Bay of Bengal. The participating ships included the Indian Navy's Kuthar, Kiltan, and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Dornier, along with Bangladesh Navy's Abu Bakr, Abu Ubaidah, and MPA.

The United States military conducted a Minuteman III missile launch recently, showcasing its nuclear capability. The Minuteman III is an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that is part of the US's nuclear triad. The triad is a combination of ICBMs, submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs), and strategic bombers. The US maintains a nuclear triad to ensure that it has a second-strike capability in the event of a nuclear attack.

The HAL Prachand is an Indian multi-role light attack helicopter designed and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited under Project LCH. It has been ordered by the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army. Its flight ceiling is the highest among all attack helicopters in the world.

The fourth edition of the Goa Maritime Conclave (GMC), hosted by the Indian Navy from October 29th to October 31st, 2023, under the Naval War College’s oversight in Goa, signifies a significant gathering of dignitaries and experts from twelve Indian Ocean Region (IOR) countries. The conclave’s central theme, “Maritime Security in the Indian Ocean Region: Converting Common Maritime Priorities into Collaborative Mitigating Frameworks,” mirrors the essential mission of harmonizing and aligning the capacities and capabilities of IOR nations to realize SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region).
