Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor has taken charge as the AOC-in-C of Training Command in the Indian Air Force. He brings extensive flying experience since his commission in December 1986, including qualifications as a Flying Instructor and Fighter Combat Leader.

DRDO has handed over nine defence tech projects to IIT-Bhubaneswar from its electronics and communication systems (ECS) cluster. This collaboration aims to contribute to emerging research and development in defence technology. Additionally, seven more projects are in the process of being sanctioned by ECS, highlighting the growing partnership between IIT-Bhubaneswar and DRDO in advancing technological capabilities for national defence.

Kadet Defence Systems (KDS) has collaborated with DRDO to develop India's first indigenous Loitering Aerial Munitions (LAM) system. This innovation, incorporating technologies like CALM and Combat UAVs, is a significant advancement in defence capabilities, offering enhanced operational efficacy across various terrains. The partnership highlights KDS's commitment to indigenous production with over 90% local component sourcing, marking a significant milestone in India's defence technology landscape.

The joint exercise "Gagan Strike-II" conducted by the Indian Army's Kharga Corps and the Indian Air Force (IAF) took place in Punjab. This exercise aimed to refine processes and validate the use of attack helicopters in mechanized operations, showcasing synergy and jointmanship between the two branches of the Indian armed forces.

Flying Wedge Defence introduced the FWD-200B, India's first indigenous bomber unmanned aircraft. This aircraft emphasizes cost-effectiveness and advanced capabilities, with a payload capacity of 100 kgs and medium-altitude, long-endurance features. It is priced at ₹25 crores, significantly lower than similar foreign models, showcasing India's commitment to self-reliance in defence technology. The FWD-200B's performance specifications include a maximum speed of 200 kts/370 kmph, an endurance capacity of 12-20 hours, and a maximum takeoff weight of 498 kgs, making it a versatile asset in combat scenarios.
