Flipkart India Private Limited signed a strategic agreement with the Department of Posts (DoP) on May 22, 2026, to strengthen nationwide last-mile parcel delivery services. Under this partnership, Flipkart will leverage India Post’s extensive delivery network, which includes over 1.6 lakh post offices, enabling efficient logistics coverage across urban, semi-urban, rural, and remote regions. The agreement supports delivery of both prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) parcels, along with OTP-based secure authentication and real-time shipment tracking. This collaboration aims to enhance India’s e-commerce logistics ecosystem while optimising the reach and infrastructure of the Department of Posts.
