The Reliance Foundation partnered with C-DAC Hyderabad to launch the e-SafeHER program on April 13, 2026, under MeitY’s ISEA programme. The initiative aims to train one million rural women (Cyber Sakhis) by 2029, with phased rollout starting in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha through women’s Self-Help Groups using a peer-led model. C-DAC Hyderabad develops localised multilingual training content, while Reliance Foundation handles grassroots delivery. The program enhances last-mile cybersecurity awareness for secure digital transactions and rural livelihoods. C-DAC, established in 1988 and headquartered in Pune, is a premier R&D organisation under MeitY. Reliance Foundation, established in 2010 and based in Mumbai, drives community-based intervention under this initiative.
