Kamal Kishore of India has been appointed as the new Assistant Secretary-General and Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction by the United Nations. With nearly 30 years of experience in disaster risk reduction, climate action, and sustainable development, he brings extensive expertise to lead the UN's efforts in disaster risk reduction.

Nidhu Saxena has been appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Bank of Maharashtra, bringing over 26 years of banking experience to the role, including previous positions as Executive Director at Union Bank of India.
