Thirty-eight farmers from Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur, known for their expertise in producing value-added coarse grain products, were invited to join the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony at Delhi’s Red Fort. The 'AgriSURE' fund aims to boost Agri Start-Ups and rural enterprises by providing financial support through a Category-II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) of Rs 750 crore. The Andhra Pradesh Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) program, spearheaded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, received the prestigious Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity 2024. This recognition highlights the state's efforts in promoting sustainable agriculture, enhancing food security, and fostering climate resilience among smallholder farmers.
