ALOHA : was a pioneering computer networking system developed at the University of Hawaii, operational in June, 1971, used for a wireless packet data network. It was used for a satellite communication systems in the Pacific. In a wireless broadcast system or a half-duplex two-way link, Aloha works perfectly.
