8 level phase - 2^3.
So, modulation rate = 9600/3 = 3200bands.
So, modulation rate = 9600/3 = 3200bands.

8 LEVEL phase that is 2^3 = 8 means 3 bits.
Then mod rate = 9600 bps/3 bits = 3200 bands.
Then mod rate = 9600 bps/3 bits = 3200 bands.
