What beep codes could indicate a system board or power supply failure?

I don't know incase of lap. But in pc we can check the smps if the power failure is due to smps. For checking that take a wire and short the gray or green wire and black from the pin that connected to board and look the fan of smps if it runs no problem with smps.

If there is a system board failure, we can check it by disconnecting the RAM, at that time the there will be no beep. But if the board is ok it will give a continuous beep for a disconnected RAM. So the answer will be option B. You can check it out.

Here answer may be correct. As in case of power failure you may get beep, may be the long one, may not beep at all. So answer is all of above.
