How ROM function in boot up process?

BIOS contain software called firmware.

BIOS is the main flash memory of a motherboard.

Computer fetches the instructions from the Read Only Basic Input Output system. At the time of booting.

ROM is flash or permanent memory where our BIOS system is stored. So, when our computer starts ROM loads the BIOS first to check whether our system I/O is properly connected or not.
