The correct answer is: Extrapolation.

Explanation:

Extrapolation → The process of estimating the value of a function at a point outside the range of known data.
Interpolation → Estimating values within the range of known data points.
Simulation / Emulation → Techniques for modelling or mimicking systems, not directly related to estimating function values.
So, estimating a value beyond the data interval is called Extrapolation.

Outside interval is extrapolatioin and inside interval is interpolation.

Interpolation : is an estimation of a value within two known values in a sequence of values.

Extrapolation : is an estimation of a value based on extending a known sequence of values or facts beyond the area that is certainly known or can be beyond the interval in which the data lies.

So, Option D is the Final & Correct Answer.

The given answer is wrong. Interpolation is estimation of value between the given limit. Correct answer is extrapolation.
