The Correct option is B)

Bytes are passed into an out of the computer via its ports.

In most computer systems, a byte is a unit of data that is eight binary digits long. A byte is a unit most computers use to represent a character such as a letter, number or typographic symbol. Each byte can hold a string of bits that need to be used in a larger unit for application purposes. For example, the stream of bits that constitute a visual image for a program that displays images or the string of bits that constitutes the machine code of a computer program.

Ports on a computer are the interfaces through which data passes into and out of the computer (e.g., USB, HDMI, Ethernet).
Bytes, graphics, and pictures are all specific forms of data, but the general and correct term is data.

Isn't it data because modern day computer works with data?

We feed data to computer and computer process thus data into useful information which we use.

Thank you @ Navin Adhikati.

Data passes into and out from the computer via its ports.

Data can be further expressed in terms of bits and in bytes.

Data is not the correct answer because. A port is usually design to get data in parallel so 8 bit is directly inputted. That why byte is correct.

I think the most appropriate answer should be data.
