Answer for this should be mnemonics because symbolic code is a code that contain symbols while English words are use in mnemonics.

Yes I was also expecting the mnemonics. It should be mnemonics, which are used in assembly language.

According to me, the given answer is wrong because in assembly language English-like word written instead of binary numbers is known as mnemonic.

Pseudocode : is a description of a computer program expressed in a formally-styled natural language (can be in English words). (it is the orginal word for the Symbolic code).
Symbolic code : is an instruction that is in mnemonic form rather than a binary number. (so both A & B can be Answers).

I think if stem or statement mention or belongs to the words assembly language then we choose to the Mnemonics choice.
