Yes, right @Swathi.

The modulator is the right answer.

In an electronics& telecommunications, modulation is the process varying one or more carrier signal, with modulating signal that typically contain information to be transmitted. A modem (from modulator- demodulator) can perform both operations. So answer is modulator.

I think (A) and (B) both are correct because both the devices perform the signal conversion.

I think Modem is the right option.
(1)

Any "device" that performs signal conversion is Modem. A modulator is the part of modem that performs modulation process.

The correct answer is B, Modem because it actually carries conversation on both ends. Digital and Analog.

The question is about any signal conversion, not a specific signal.

Modem is the Correct answer. Modulator which is part of a modem converts a digital signal into analog.

I think the modem is the Correct answer.

Because Modulator converts a digital signal into analog.

If, that question like Any device that performs digital signal conversion is: then the answer is Modulator.

The answer is wrong.

The answer is a modem because modulator converts the only analog to digital signal not digital to analog signal, but modem stance for the modulator and de modulator that means analog to digital, or digital to analog.
