The First Generation computers is from 1940 to 1956.
Third Generation computers is from 1964 to 1971.
The Intel 4004 is a 4-bit central processing unit released by Intel Corporation in 1971 which is part of Third Generation computers.
Now anyone can decide, what can be the answer?

Please clarify is this A or B.
First generation microprocessor was intel 4004 which is 4-bit microprocessor so the answer will be A.
Please make it sure why it is B?

Option A looks too less so Option B would be just right. Also, it says the first generation.
The first generation of processors represents the series of chips from Intel that were found in the first PCs.
The 8086 was one of the first 16-bit processor chips on the market; at the time, virtually all other processors were 8-bit designs.
