Answer is A.

A computer assisted method for the recording and analysing of existing or hypothetical systems is Data transmission.

Data is transferred in the form of bits between two or more digital devices. There are two methods used to transmit data between digital devices: serial transmission and parallel transmission. Serial data transmission sends data bits one after another over a single channel.

Data transmission is the process of sending digital or analog data over a communication medium to one or more computing, network, communication or electronic devices. It enables the transfer and communication of devices in a point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint environment.

Hypothetical means there is no physical system but system digram.

Dataflow is often defined using a model or diagram in which the entire process of data movement is mapped as it passes from one component to the next within a program or a system, taking into consideration how it changes form during the process. So here recording means mapping, drawing etc. In simple words, if you draw about the system which could be hypothetical, it is called data flow. Data transmission is the actual process.

Why data flow not data processing?

Data Processing:Data must first be entered into the computer before it can be processed. Once the date is entered, the CPU will analyze this data and perform the necessary computations. Once the data is processed, it can be translated to various output values such as documents, audio, or video.

So as per the above definition : the Answer is option D : Data Processing.

The correct answer is DATA FLOW. I agree.

Why not capturing? Capturing gives meaning like recording.

Why isn't it data processing, Since analyzing of data is done in data processing only.

The correct answer is data flow be course data processing is a responsible for analyzing data and and passing from one device to another but when you say data flow this is function done by data bus or SATA be course data flow is systematical way of passing the data not analysis data.
