Logistic curve.

ABCDE.

AB - early growth.
BC - exponential or logarithmic growth.
CD - constant growth.
DE- late growth.

Ideal population growth curve=logistic curve.

Shape is S.
1st portion : dP/dt=P ; Geometric or logarithmic growth.
3rd portion : dP/dt=(Ps-P); Geometric or logarithmic growth.
Middle curve : dP/dt=constant; Arithmetic increase.

The logistic curve of population growth is follows an S shaped curve which having three zones 1st zone follows the geometric curve 2nd zone represented by arithmetic curve last zone is represented by 1st order curve.
