I think (A) is an accurate answer.

This is wrong because ozone is more effective and it is expensive. So, it is used in only private pools.

Answer will be option A definitely because ozone is a better disinfectant in compare to chlorine but it gets vanishes before reaching the supply mains.

Answer to this question is option A.

In chlorination residual chlorine of 0.5 mg/l is insured to prevent contamination during distribution, while in Ozone there is no such protection against future contamination.

Since ozone is effective in killing it can be used. But only reason is it is costly and should be produced only during the time of use. Because its an unstable compound. The answer might be wrong.

@Faustin,

What is it?

Faustin said:   1 decade ago
Due to the purpose of disinfection, bacteria must be removed at least 100%? Ozone kill more than chlorine so, chlorine is mostly used.
