Form factor = area of the basin/square of the axial length.
Area of the basin = (0.2)(35*2).
Area of the basin = 245 sq km.
Area of the basin = (0.2)(35*2).
Area of the basin = 245 sq km.

FORM FACTOR = AREA/ LENGTH^2.
THEREFORE AREA= LENGTH^2/FORM FACTOR = 35^2 * .02 = 245 SQ KM.
THEREFORE AREA= LENGTH^2/FORM FACTOR = 35^2 * .02 = 245 SQ KM.

Area of the basin = 0.2/35^2.
So, 245 sq km.
So, 245 sq km.
